Market Group 5 Pay Grade 4 Pay Range- $106,572.14 to $173,179.73
Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations
The Standardization and Evaluation Manager responsibilities include:
· Responsible for developing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Pilot/Crew Resource Management for all aircraft operated by company.
· This position will work in cooperation with the Flight Training Manager to ensure all pilot record keeping is current and correct per FAA Standards.
· Develop and implement a tracking record for part 61 pilot and part 125 pilot currency requirements.
Requirements:

Five (5) or more years experience in the Aviation field.

Must have a minimum of 1000 hours night and 300 hours night vision experience in a tactical environment.

Must have or be able to obtain a Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificate.

Must achieve Check Airman Certification within reasonable timeframe to be determined by the Director of Flight Operations.

Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Holds a type rating for at least one of the aircraft operated.

Must have and maintain an FAA Class II medical.

Qualified in accordance with the operator's training program to act as a pilot-in-command on the types of aircraft operated.

Demonstrates knowledge of the Company Operations Manual, Training Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures & Company Check Pilot Manual (as applicable).

Demonstrates knowledge of the provisions of the civil aviation regulations & standards necessary to carry out the duties & responsibilities.

Ability to travel both domestically and internationally on a limited basis.

Ability to lift 75 lbs., routinely, climb, bend, and kneel during the course of work.

Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a valid driver's license.

Successfully complete a lengthy security screening process and at all times possess and maintain eligibility for the appropriate US Government Security Approval.

Pre-employment drug screening and pre-employment physical.
Essential Functions:
Standardization
-
Review and address standardization and training issues, develop and implement standardization training when necessary.

Conduct quarterly standardization meetings.
Flight Training
-
Work closely with the Flight Training and Safety to enforce, and train to company standards.

Works with the training department in providing academics, topics at pilot/safety meetings, and provides instruction in the aircraft.

Teach and be heavily involved in NVG Operations.

Insure pilot training records include initial orientation and familiarization, initial flight, and airplane and position upgrade training
Special Mission Training

Develop, implement, and maintain, a special mission training program; integrate that program with both company training and necessary FAA training and currency requirements.
